Robert M. Moore started Moore Farm Building Company in 1951 located in Charleston, Illinois. Through the years the company has grown from strictly agricultural use to multi-use in all sections of the economy.

Mr. Moore retired in 1982 and sold Moore Farm Building Company to Donald O. Nees. At that time, Mr. Nees had been managing the business since 1971. The name of the company was then shortened to Moore Building Company.

Throughout the years, Moore Building Company has been at the cutting edge of innovation for the industry. Moore Building Company first started with the plated trusses in 1964, and then began using the laminated column in 1967, which is widely used throughout the industry today. The company expanded and shifted its direction toward the commercial building market in 1982. Today we build a wide variety of structures from garages and agricultural buildings to complex commercial buildings.

Excellence in planning and design has enabled our company to receive numerous awards over the years for many of our various construction projects. With our sales office located in east central Illinois, Moore Building Company personnel have many years of experience to get your job done right the first time.

Moore Building Company is proud to be a charter member of the National Frame Builders Association since its formation in the early 1970's. The Association works with its members stressing design, building codes, and a builder code of ethics.

Moore Building Company is proud to present to you "OUR CUSTOMER", the most versatile and cost effective techniques of construction for commercial, industrial, agricultural, equine, and suburban buildings on the market today.
